Jobs - Rescheduling a Job or Changing the Recurrence Pattern

Whether you need to adjust the timing, shift it to a different day, or edit the recurrence pattern, you can easily make these changes. You have the flexibility to reschedule an existing job in both the calendar and list views within the job section. You can modify the recurrence pattern in three areas: the calendar view, list view, and recurrence list.


Rescheduling a Job in Calendar View

To reschedule a job in the calendar view, click, hold and drag the job to a different tech, date or time in the calendar view. The job details will then change.

If the job is part of a recurrence pattern, click, hold and drag the job to a different tech or time in day view and select whether you want to reschedule just that specific job (this will not change the recurring job series, only the job on that day) or the option 'This and the following jobs' (this will change the recurring job series, including the job on that day). Click confirm to update.

  • In the calendar view, hover over the job and click Reschedule.

  • Click the calendar icon and select the day you wish to move the job to.

  • Click the time box and select a new time, then click ok.

  • Click the technician drop-down box to reassign to a different tech.

  • Click Reschedule to update.

If the job is part of a recurrence pattern, select whether you want to reschedule just that specific job (this will not change the recurring job series, only the job on that day) or the option 'This and the following jobs' (this will change the recurring job series, including the job on that day). Click confirm to update.

Reschedule a Job in Edit Job View


  • In the calendar view, click the job you want to reschedule.

  • Click the Actions tab.

  • Click Reschedule.

  • Select the day or week view in the top left corner of the screen.

  • Click the calendar icon in the start date tab and select the day you wish to move the job to or click on the date and time

  • Click the start time tab and select a new time, then click ok.

  • Click the end time tab to change the duration of the job, then click ok.

  • Select a different technician to assign the job to a new tech.

  • Click schedule to update the changes.

If the job is part of a recurrence pattern, select whether you want to reschedule just that specific job (this will not change the recurring job series, only the job on that day) or the option 'This and the following jobs' (this will change the recurring job series, including the job on that day). Click confirm to update.

If you reschedule a job to a different date/time/tech and it is part of a recurrence, that specific job will be unlinked from the recurrence. This means that any changes to the recurrence will no longer be applied to that job e.g recurrence pattern change, change of job type.

Change the Recurrence Pattern in the Recurrence List View

  1. Find the recurrence you want to change and click the pencil icon to edit it.

  2. To change the recurrence pattern, you can click on the Actions button at the top-right corner of the screen or click on the pencil icon to the right of the current recurrence pattern.

3. Select a date for when you want to start the new pattern and click on the 'Change recurrence pattern' button.


4. Select the new recurrence pattern that you want to use, preview the schedule of the recurrence and click on the 'Set recurrence pattern'.
