Aside from Stripe, Pooltrackr can also be integrated with other payment gateways such as Windcave. To know more about Windcave rates or if you want to sign up for Windcave, you may reach out to us through our support channels or by sending an email to support@pooltrackr.com.

Setup

Once your Windcave account is set up, you will be provided with the API user and the API key by Windcave. You will need this handy during the integration process.


  • Go to Setup → Integrations → Payments → Windcave.

  • Enter the API username and API key that was provided.

  • Click on the Connect button.

  • Once connected, you will be taken back to the Pooltrackr Windcave integration page.

A. Switch on the pay now button if you want this appended to your invoice emails.

B. Toggle the switcher for Charge my customers a processing fee, if you wish to pass on some of the Windcave fees to your customer. If you have Xero connected, you must assign these fees to a Xero account.

C. Enable the option to allow technicians to take card payments on-site.

  • Click on the Update button after configuring the integration.

Taking payments from the portal


  • Open a job that is ready to invoice

  • Click Preview and Send Invoice

  • Click the green “Pay invoice” button

    You will be able to process the payment even if the contact does not have an existing card on file. 

  • If you have consent, you can save the card for future payments by toggling the Save this card for future payments securely option

  • Enter the card details

  • Click on the Submit button

  • Send the invoice – it will show that a payment has been processed and there is nothing outstanding

Taking payments from the field

  • Open a job that is ready to invoice

  • Go to the Preview and Send Invoice screen

  • Tap the “Take Payment” button

  • If you have consent, you can save the card for future payments by toggling the Save this card for future payments securely option

  • You will be redirected to your mobile browser and then proceed to add the card information

  • Tap on the Submit button

  • Send the invoice – it will show that a payment has been processed and there is nothing outstanding

  • The card will be stored for future payments
