Good to know
If you do not set a default contact category, the contact category field in the edit/create contact section will remain optional.
Only one contact category can be set at a time.
If you set a default contact category, the contact category field in the edit/create contact page will become mandatory. You will not be able to save or update the contact until you select a contact category from the drop-down menu.
If you have an existing integration with Xero or Lightspeed and create a contact from there, the contact will be imported into Pooltrackr with the default contact category applied.
When importing contacts using the import tool, if the contact category column is empty, the default category will be applied automatically. If no default contact category is set in your Pooltrackr account, the contact category field in the contact details page will remain empty.
