This article outlines how you can clean up and merge duplicate contacts or pools on Pooltrackr.
To start with the deduplication Navigate to Setup → Data Management. Select Contacts or Pools whichever you want to remove duplicates on.
Finding Duplicates
Select all options in the "Filter" section. This will show any records that match all the selected criteria. By default, the Contact Name filter is turned on. Toggle any of the filters to remove the default filter.
Gradually switch off different combinations of filters and check your results.
Once you have found duplicates, select which of the contacts will be set as the primary. The first record in the list will be chosen as the primary, however, you can assign which record you would like to be the master using the 'Set as a primary' function.
The 'Ignore' option will remove the contact from the list, so it will not be deduplicated.
4. You can edit the primary record data to dictate what the final deduplicated record looks like.
5. Once you are ready to merge, click on the 'Merge contact' button. All the jobs, quotes, and invoices will be transferred over to the chosen primary contact.
