The Quote email setup page lets you customise the email message sent to customers when a quote is shared. This is a good opportunity to make a great first impression—personalise the message to include details like services involved, products, pricing, or special instructions. Setting a personalised tone in your communication helps build trust and ensures your customer has all the context they need.
Accessing the Quote Email settings
Go to Setup → Quotes → Email to access the quote email setup page.
1. Reply to Email: This is the email address you want customers to reply to. If left blank, the organisation email will be used instead. You can also add an email cc: recipient in the next field.
2. Quote Email Subject line: This will be the default subject line for all the quotes. You can use any of the available merge tags to personalise it.
3. Email sign off and quote photo toggles - Turn on this switcher if you want to include the quote photos by default on your quote email.
4. Intro Message - This is where you can customise the whole default messaging for your quote email. The message you will set here will be the default messaging in the Preview and Send page, but can be changed accordingly.
5. Supported Merge tags - Personalise your quote emails using the pre-defined sample merge tags. These merge tags allow you to dynamically insert customer-specific or organisation-related information into your messages, making them more relevant and engaging.
6. Preview Email and Save buttons - Click the Preview Email option to check how the email will look on the customer's end. Click the Save button to apply any changes made to the Email settings.
