The Quote settings page is where you manage your global quote configuration. From this section, you can control how quotes appear to your contacts, including options like showing task lists, enabling SKUs, displaying discounts, setting default expiry periods, and configuring automatic resend rules. This is also where you can customise the footer message shown at the bottom of every quote.

Quote Settings page
1. Display Task list
Toggle this switch to include the job's task list in your quotes. You can add and remove tasks accordingly, similar to creating a new job.
If this option is enabled, the task list will be displayed on the quote PDF as shown below:
2. Enable SKU on quotes
The Enable SKU on quotes setting allows you to display product SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) directly on your quotes. SKUs help identify specific products or services, making it easier for your team to review.
To enable this feature, switch on the Enable SKU on quotes toggle. Once activated, SKUs linked to your items will automatically appear on all new quotes you create.
3. Display discounts on quotes
This setting controls whether discounts are shown to customers when they receive the quote. While discounts are always calculated and applied in the system (when applicable), enabling this option makes them visible to the customer on the quote document.
4. Quote Expiry Settings
This setting allows you to define how long a quote remains valid for your customers. By setting a default expiry period, you can encourage timely approvals and keep your pricing and service terms up to date. To configure this, enter a number and select whether the expiry should be measured in days, weeks, or months. You can also adjust the expiry manually for individual quotes if needed.
For more detailed information, please refer to our Quote Expiry article here.
5. Resend Quote toggle
The option helps you automatically follow up with customers by resending quotes at a set interval. In this field, you can choose how often quotes are resent (e.g., every 3 days) and how many times the system should attempt to resend before stopping.
This ensures your quotes stay top of mind without needing to manually track and send reminders.
For detailed instructions on how to manually resend a quote, check out our Resend Quotes guide here.
6. Footer Message field
In Pooltrackr, you can customise the footer message that appears at the bottom of your quotes. This footer is a great place to add a friendly note, important terms, or next steps for your customers.
7. Save and Preview buttons
When setting up or editing your quote settings in Pooltrackr, it’s important to preview and save your changes. The Preview button lets you see how your quote will look to the customer before finalising it, helping you spot any adjustments needed. Once you're happy with the setup, simply click Save to apply your changes. This ensures your updates are live and ready to be used on new quotes.
