Customer Balance for Lightspeed-Integrated Accounts

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Customer balances from Lightspeed can be synced to Pooltrackr. Customer Balance syncing gives Lightspeed-integrated businesses real-time visibility into every customer’s financial status directly within Pooltrackr. Balances are pulled from Lightspeed and displayed across key areas of the app, making it easier to track what customers owe or have in credit.

A new 'Balance' column in the Contacts List provides at-a-glance insights, complete with green highlights for credits and red highlights for outstanding amounts. You can also filter contacts by balance to quickly pinpoint accounts that need attention. Balance information is now included on the Contact Details Card as well, ensuring financial details are accessible from Jobs, Quotes, and Contact pages.

This feature reduces manual checks and improves the follow-up processes in terms of billing.

Balance Column in Contacts List Page

The Balance column can be seen within the Contacts List View. This column shows the customer’s current balance as received from Lightspeed.

  • Positive balances (credits) display in green

  • Negative balances (amounts owed) display in red

If you do not see the Balance column, you would need to check the Balance option in the Columns filter.

Filter Contacts by Balance

You can filter your contact list using the Balance field to quickly find customers who owe money or have available credit. The filter tool lets you build precise, custom queries using three components:

  1. Click on the Filter option and select 'Balance'. Columns tells the system which field you want to filter by.
In this case, selecting Balance means you’re filtering using the customer’s current Lightspeed-synced account balance.

  2. The Operator defines how the balance should be compared.
You can choose from several options:

    • = Shows customers with a balance exactly matching the value you enter

    • != Shows customers whose balance is anything except the value entered

    • > Shows customers with a balance greater than the value entered (e.g., customers who owe more than $0)

    • >= Greater than or equal to

    • < Less than (e.g., customers with a credit balance below $0)

    • <= Less than or equal to

    • is empty Shows contacts with no balance data

    • is not empty Shows contacts with any balance value

    • is any of Allows multiple exact match values

  3. The Value is the number you’re filtering against.
