iPhone
Your iPhone needs to be on iOS 17.6 or later.
That covers the iPhone XS and every model after it, including the iPhone SE 2nd generation and newer. If your iPhone is from 2018 or later, you're good to go.
Thinking of buying a new iPhone? An iPhone 11 or newer is a safe choice. It runs the app beautifully and still gets the latest updates from Apple.
How to check your iPhone:
Open Settings
Tap General, then About
Look at Software Version. If it says 17.6 or higher, you're ready.
Need to update? Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Android
Your Android phone needs to be on Android 7.0 or later.
Android comes in many brands and models, so there's no single list to check. What matters is your Android version, not the brand. Almost any Android phone from the last several years will work.
How to check your Android phone:
Open Settings
Tap About phone (this may sit under System on some phones)
Look for Android version. If it says 7.0 or higher, you're ready.
Need to update? Go to Settings > System > Software update. The exact wording can vary a little by brand.
