Version 1.13.0 Web and 5.16.1 Mobile. 06 November 2026

What's new in Pooltrackr: the Schedule tab, Skipped and No access visit outcomes, mandatory chemical tests, comments on water tests, saved cards, the Equipment tab and fixes on both apps.

Your day on your phone. Pooltrackr Web 1.13.0 and Mobile 5.16.1

A pool round is won or lost between the visits: knowing where to go next, what to tell the customer, and what actually happened at the gate. This release puts the technician's day on the phone, sends every visit outcome back to the office as it happens, and lets you decide which water tests are never optional. Here is what changed, in the field and in the office, side by side.

Release summary

Your day is on your phone. The new Schedule tab shows the technician's jobs for any day as a list or on a map, with a progress card, Navigate to next stop, and swipe actions to reschedule, reassign, navigate or let the customer know you are on the way. Every visit now records how it went, Done, Skipped or No access, with the reason, and the office sees it on the Jobs list and the Calendar as soon as it syncs.

Water testing gets stricter where you want it to be. A service profile can make specific chemical tests mandatory, and neither app will save a test with one of them left blank. Water tests also get a Comments field, with a Lab setting that decides whether comments print on the report.

Further down: customers can save their card while paying an invoice, the pool screen on mobile gets its own Equipment tab, exports that join pools and contacts by ID, and a long list of fixes on both apps.

🆕 New features

A Schedule tab for every technician

Mobile. The Schedule tab sits in the centre of the new bottom bar. A week strip to pick the date, the day's jobs as a list or on a map, a daily progress card, Navigate to next stop and Optimise your route, and swipe actions on every row. The Jobs tab stays for history, scheduling and admin, and the app opens on it.

The same day in both apps. Left: the technician's Schedule tab with Done, In progress, Skipped, No access and Open. Right: the office Jobs list showing the same jobs and statuses.

  • New bottom bar. Quick access to Jobs, Quotes, Schedule, Pools and Contacts. Settings and account options have moved to the main menu, with Job Dashboard under Dashboards and Team Map under Team.

  • Swipe actions match the Jobs list. Swipe left on a Schedule row for Reschedule, Reassign and Delete. Swipe right for Navigate, Notify and Start timer. A recurring job asks Just this job or All jobs in series. Nothing shows on done, completed or invoiced jobs, and a technician without permission to manage other people's work sees no actions on another technician's job.

  • Notes at a glance. A job with notes shows the notes icon on its Schedule row. Tap it to read the notes inline.

  • Tell the customer you are on the way. If your organisation uses SMS, send On my way or Running late straight from the Schedule with Notify, using your SMS templates and merge tags.

  • Job status filters on the Jobs list are now available to every user, not only admins.

  • Works offline. Reschedule and Delete from the Schedule list queue while you are out of range and the list updates straight away. The Calendar and Schedule week you last viewed are available offline.

Know what happened on every visit

Web and Mobile. Two new job outcomes, Skipped and No access, can be set on any scheduled job instead of completing it. Skipped means the technician chose not to service the pool this visit. No access means they could not get in: locked gate, dog, blocked driveway.

  • On the phone, the technician picks the outcome and a reason from the job. The status pill shows Complete, Skipped or No access, and tapping it shows the reason, the note and when it was set.

  • In the office, each outcome shows on the job and wherever the status appears. Skipped is purple and No access is red, and both are filters on the Jobs list and the Calendar. The job Summary shows the reason, the note, who set it and when.

  • Neither counts as completed work: no invoice, no job sheet. The job can be reopened or rescheduled. A reopened job goes back to Open, and the Booking changed SMS is not sent again.

Water testing: the tests the profile requires, on every visit

Web and Mobile. Until now a technician could save a water test with any tests filled in, and the office found out later that the ones that matter were skipped. A service profile can now say which chemical tests are mandatory, and both apps hold the technician to it.

  1. Set it once on the service profile. In Setup, Service profiles, pick the tests under Mandated chemical tests. Here the profile Natalia requires Free Chlorine, pH and Total Alkalinity.

  2. Every job linked to that profile asks for them. In the water test calculator those tests are switched on, marked with an asterisk, and cannot be removed.

  3. The save is blocked until they are filled in. Complete, Save, Preview and send job sheet and Preview and send invoice all stop with a message that names the missing tests, on the web and on the phone.

Steps 2 and 3. Left: the phone calculator marks pH and Total Alkalinity with an asterisk and no delete icon. Right: on the web, Complete stops with Required chemical tests missing, naming Free Chlorine, pH and Total Alkalinity.

Comments on water tests, your call whether they print

Lab, Web. Lab operators often have something to say about a test that does not fit a reading: what was done today, what to watch next time. The Water test page now has a Comments field for exactly that, and you decide whether it prints.

  1. Write the comment on the water test. A new Comments card sits under Recommendations, with a Show on report switch on that test.

  2. It prints in its own Comments section on the report, after the test results and recommendations, when the switch is on.

  3. Control the default in Lab settings. Show Comments on the water test report is on by default. Switch it off and comments stay on the water testing page and never print; switch it on and you can still keep one comment off a single report without deleting it.

Let customers save their card while paying

Web. For organisations with Windcave connected, the invoice payment page, opened from the Pay Now link in the invoice email, now offers the customer a tick box: Save my card for future payments. The payment goes through and the card is stored against the contact for future authorised payments. Unticked, the payment goes through exactly as before. The link a customer uses to add a card also stays valid for longer, so it does not expire before they get to it.

Improvements to existing features

Equipment on its own tab

Mobile. The pool screen on the phone has two tabs. Details holds the pool header, Jobs, Quotes and Invoices, pool info and linked contacts. Equipment, with a count in the tab, lists each item with its thumbnail, name, type, serial number, warranty status and notes, and you can add equipment right there with the plus button instead of going through Edit pool.

A few more quick updates

  • Turn a job into a recurring one from the field. On a single job that is not already recurring, set it to repeat straight from the job screen on the phone, with the same confirmation and template recurrence as the web. See Jobs. Custom Recurrence.

  • Template notes on the phone. When a technician picks a job template, the template's notes fill in on the job, as they already do on the web. See Setup. Job templates.

  • Calendar days with jobs are visible again. Jobs without a colour used to show a white dot that disappeared into the background. Days with scheduled work now show a visible indicator whether or not the jobs have a colour.

  • Exports that join by ID. The Pools export has a Linked contacts id column, the Contacts export has a Linked pools id column, and the Jobs export carries the job, contact and pool IDs and the pool address, so the spreadsheets line up in either direction. See Contacts. List view.

  • Long days load on the Schedule without freezing.

  • Crash fixes and accessibility labels on icon buttons.

Impact at a glance

  • Who it helps: technicians running their day from the phone, office admins tracking what happened on each visit, Lab operators, and businesses taking card payments online.

  • Highlights: A Schedule tab with map, progress and swipe actions. Skipped and No access with reasons. Mandatory chemical tests from service profiles. Comments on water tests. Customers saving their own card. Equipment on its own tab. Fixes for the field.

  • Platforms: Web 1.13.0 and Mobile 5.16.1 on iOS and Android.

Update your app. Technicians need Pooltrackr 5.16.1 or later from the App Store or Google Play to see the Schedule tab, visit outcomes and mandatory tests. Earlier versions keep working for jobs and quotes. See Supported Mobile Devices.
